World's Most Nutritious Smoothie

This one requires a very good blender. I recommend a Vitamix so that the end result is smooth without bits of pulp. I will state at the outset that I don't drink this bad boy for its taste. I drink it for what it does for my body. This amazing drink packs a punch and gives you just about all the nutrients you need in a day. I feel amazing after drinking one and attribute much of my healing to consuming it daily. I drink two of them per day and store the remainder in an airtight container for the following day. Do not store for more than 1.5 days, as it will oxidize and lose its nutritional value.


Several cups mixed greens of your choosing (rotate them each week)

Sprouts of some variety

1/2 cup frozen cranberries

1/2 cup frozen mixed berries (low sugar variety, I use black, blue, and raspberry primarily)

1-2 chopped carrots

1 whole avocado

Ginger root (peeled and cut into small bits per your discretion)

Filtered water


Pack the blender with greens. Then top with everything else. (Although in this photo, clearly I did the opposite! Normally my order is greens first and then the heavy stuff, so as to not congest the blender blades). Add water to about 2 inches from the top. Be sure to rotate ingredients each week and be creative. The key to this smoothie blending well is the avocado, so I do not recommend skipping it. Without avocado, the drink is very watery and not very palatable. I usually stick with low sugar fruits, but I do occasionally throw in a banana.
